Questions you might have

Can I buy it now?

Not yet. We're launching soon, and everyone on the waitlist hears first and gets 20% off at launch, plus free UK delivery.

Why does the law matter?

Under the Control of Dogs Order 1992, a dog in a public place must wear a collar with the owner's name and address on it, either on the collar or on a tag. A QR code on its own doesn't meet this.

What's printed on the tag?

On the front, your colour and the contact details you type in yourself (for example your name, address with postcode and phone number). On the back, a large Paw ID QR code so it's quick to scan.

How does the QR code work?

Anyone who finds your pet scans the code or taps their phone on the tag to see your contact details and get in touch straight away. No app needed for the finder.

Do cats need this?

UK law only requires an ID tag for dogs, but your details on the tag can still help get a lost cat home faster.
